College student Steams in Taste Cheshire Final 2017

2017.

The best young chefs from West Cheshire College and South Cheshire College fought it out in the semi-final, producing some culinary delights to earn themselves one of the top four spots in next month’s final.

To secure their place and to be in with a chance of winning the title, the competitors were tasked with creating two identical dishes. Both dishes were to be prepared in just 45 minutes and expected to be worthy of restaurant standards. Each student impressed the judges with their cooking skills, determination and effort, but only four could be named the finalists. Amongst the talented chefs to make the final cut was West Cheshire College student Melissa Brown, 17 years old from Chester.
