NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO MAKE
(Whiston Street & Lyon Street, Macclesfield)
(Prohibition of Waiting and Loading Place) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes
to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 and 35 and Parts III and IV
of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
(“the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and in accordance with
its duty under Section 122 of the 1984 Act.
1. The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce a prohibition
of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths
and sides of roads in Macclesfield;
a. Whiston Street (south side) throughout its entire length
b. Whiston Street (north side) from its junction with Lyon Street for
a distance of 7 metres in a westerly direction
c. Lyon Street (east side) from its junction with Athey Street for a
distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction
and to place restrictions in the following lengths and sides of roads
in Macclesfield introducing Loading Only restrictions applicable at all
times
d. Whiston Street – north side from a point 7 metres west of its
junction with Lyon Street for a distance of 13 metres in a westerly
direction.
2. A copy of the draft Order; map showing the restricted areas; a
statement of reasons for making the Order and a copy of this public
notice may be examined during usual office hours at the Cheshire East
Borough Council Offices, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach,
CW11 1HZ and at the Public Library, Jordangate, Macclesfield.
3. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, or to any provisions
contained in it, or make any other representations, you may do so in
writing, and if making an objection you must specify the grounds on
which it is made, to Mr R Welch, Cheshire East Highways, 6th Floor
c/o Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe CW1 2BJ to be received
by 3rd February 2017.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes
to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part III of Schedule 9
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (“the 1984 Act”)
and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under
Section 122 of the 1984 Act.
1. The effect of the proposed Order will be tointroduce a prohibition
of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths
and sides of road in Bollington:-
Water Street (south side) – From its junction with Hazelhurst Drive for
a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction.
Hazelhurst Drive (east side) – Throughout its entire length
Hazelhurst Drive (west side) – From its junction with Water Street for a
distance of 65 metres in a southerly direction
2. A copy of the draft Order; map showing the restricted areas; a
statement of reasons for making the Order and a copy of this public
notice may be examined during usual office hours at the Cheshire East
Borough Council Offices, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach,
CW11 1HZ and at the offices of Bollington Town Council, Wellington
Road, Bollington.
3. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, or to any provisions
contained in it, or make any other representations, you may do so in

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
(Footpath No 3 (part) Parish of Bollington)
Public Path Diversion Order 2016
On 8th December 2016, the Cheshire East Borough Council confirmed
the above named Order. The effect of the Order will be to divert that
length of Public Footpath No. 3 in the Parish of Bollington commencing
at OSGR SJ 9216 7770 and running in a generally north westerly
direction for a distance of approx. 151m to OSGR SJ 9205 7780, and then
running in a generally westerly direction for a distance of approx. 19m
to OSGR SJ 9203 7781 to a new line commencing at OSGR SJ 9212 7785
and running in a generally west, north westerly direction for
a distance of approx. 53m to OSGR SJ 9207 7787, and then arcing in
generally westerly and south westerly directions for a distance of approx.
36m to OSGR SJ 9204 7786 and then running in a generally southerly
direction for a distance of approx. 50m to OSGR SJ 9203 7781.
Copies of the confirmed Order and plan have been deposited and may
be seen free of charge during normal office hours in the Rights of Way
Unit at the office of the undersigned and at the offices of Cheshire
East Borough Council, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11
1HZ. Copies of the Order and the Plan may be obtained free of charge
from the undersigned.
The Order became operative on 8th December 2016, but if a person
aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any
provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the
powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or on the grounds
that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has
not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order,
he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under
section 287 of the Act within 6 weeks of 12th January 2017 as required
by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
(Footpath No. 3 (parts) Parish of Bollington)
Public Path Diversion Order 2016
The above Order, made on the 8th December 2016, under section 119
of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the following lengths of Public
Footpath No. 3 in the Parish of Bollington:
That length commencing at OSGR SJ 9203 7781 and running in a
generally westerly direction for approx. 28m to OSGR SJ 9200 7781 and
then running in a generally west, south westerly direction for approx.
61m to OSGR SJ 9195 7778 to a new line commencing at OSGR SJ 9203
7781 and then running in a generally westerly direction for approx.
27m to OSGR SJ 9201 7780 and then running in a generally south
westerly direction for approx. 45m to OSGR SJ 9197 7778 and then
running in a generally west, north westerly direction for approx.
20m to O.S grid reference SJ 9195 7778.
That length commencing at OSGR SJ 9191 7776 and running in a
generally west, south westerly direction for approx. 60m to OSGR
SJ 9186 7773 to a new line commencing at OSGR SJ 9191 7776 and
then running in a generally south, south westerly direction for approx.
13m to OSGR SJ 9191 7775 and then running in a generally west, south
westerly direction for approx. 50m to OSGR SJ 9186 7773.
Copies of the Order, plan and Statement of Reasons for making the
Order have been deposited and may be seen free of charge during
normal office hours in the Rights of Way Unit at the office of the
undersigned and at the offices of Cheshire East Borough Council,
Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HZ. Copies of the
Order and the Plan may be obtained free of charge from the
undersigned.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent
in writing to the Director of Legal Services, 2nd Floor, Old Building,
Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 2BJ not later
than 9th February 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are
made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if
any so made are withdrawn, the Cheshire East Borough Council may
confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to
the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for
confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been
withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 5 IN THE PARISH OF GAWSWORTH)
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Restriction of Pedestrians Order 2016
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (2) (a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road
Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East
Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to
temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath
No.5 Gawsworth which commences at its junction with Public Footpath
No. 31 Gawsworth at O.S. grid reference SJ 9101 7063, and runs across
‘Dog Kennels’ swing bridge to continue in a generally north, north
easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 305 metres
to its junction with Public Footpath No. 1 Sutton on Gaw End Lane,
at O.S grid reference SJ 9111 7091.
The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the
public whilst works are undertaken to repair the swing bridge.
The closure continues the restriction that came into force on 18th
November 2016 and will continue in force for a period from that date
to 18th May 2017, or until the works to repair the swing bridge are
completed, whichever is the earlier.
