Former Scotland international Chris Iwelumo has joined Chester FC on a one-year deal.
The 35-year-old striker was released by Scottish Cup winners St Johnstone at the end of last season.
Iwelumo, capped four times for Scotland, Said: “Chester is a big club and I just want to get going in pre-season.”
Manager Steve Burr told the club’s website: “When we found out he was available, we had a chat. As soon as he came to the stadium and saw the training facilities we have and listened to our plans he wanted to be part of that.
“He will add some great experience to what is quite a young squad we are working with.”
