Warrington Wolves have announced that Danny Fullerton will take on the role of under 19s Academy head coach with immediate effect.
Danny has worked his way up through the coaching ranks having learnt his trade under previous head coach Gary Chambers. With Gary’s recent departure to Swinton Lions Danny will now make the transition from assistant to head coach working alongside colleagues Peter Nicholson and Chris Rudd.

Danny has been involved with the Warrington club since he was part of the reserves in the 2000 season. Following a short stint at Widnes Vikings his rugby playing days were brought to a premature close through injury and he decided to remain within the game through the coaching pathway.

He is now a full time member of the performance team, working in the community coaching primary school children the game.

Danny said: “Firstly I would like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to further develop myself as a head coach and the opportunity to work with the elite players that Warrington Wolves have developing within their system. I’d also like to thank Gary Chambers for his service to the club and on a personal note too.”
