The Widnes Vikings have today launched the ‘Widnes Vikings Boot Camp’.
The camps will commence from Monday 29th April and will run every

Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning between the hours of 7.00am – 8.00am on

the trail blazing i-Pitch at the Stobart Stadium.

High intensity training has been shown to enhance cardio-vascular fitness,

enhance lean muscle mass and reduce body fat. The sessions are available to

people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels and will incorporate

elements utilised by the Vikings players in their training programmes.

Participants can work as hard as they want.

The sessions will be led by staff from the Vikings Conditioning staff.

Clive Brewer, Head of Strength and Conditioning at the club, said; “Rugby

League is the toughest physical sport in the world. We use the highest

intensity training methods with the players – having fans and members of the

public being able to experience some of these methods for their own health

and fitness makes sense. They can train under experienced strength and

conditioning coaches who work with the first team daily.”

Widnes Vikings Boot Camp will be charged at £5 per session and participants

must commit to a minimum of 3 sessions, which is payable up-front prior to

participation.
