Warrington Wolves have recalled winger Rhys Williams from his loan at Salford City Reds after Joel Monaghan suffered an injury in the 24-10 win over Hull FC on Saturday.
Monaghan, who picked up two tries at the KC Stadium, picked up an abdominal muscle strain but the clubs hopes that he will only be out for a one or two weeks.
Nevertheless, head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith has decided to boost his squad by recalling Williams (pictured) in time for Sunday’s Super League clash with Hull KR.
