Warrington Teaching Schools Alliance has announced the launch of a new Modern Foreign Language Teacher training programme for Primary and Secondary Schools in the North West of England.

The Alliance has been created from Warrington Primary and Secondary Schools sharing expertise to provide new and exciting opportunities for teacher training.

The “Language learning for all” project will be led by Warrington Teaching Schools Alliance, who have achieved “Outstanding” recognition as part of the Schools Direct Programme and now has Teaching School status.

The programme is also partnered by Janet Lloyd Network who has over 3 years’ experience in supporting over 100 Primary and Secondary Schools in Modern Foreign Language provision.

The training is funded by the Department for Education and will be free to recipient schools and will address the statutory requirements of the new Programme of Study for Modern Foreign Language provision for KS2 and transition into KS3.
