In a somewhat unexpected move Sale Sharks have appointed Dan Braid as Team Captain for the new season.
Braid joined the club on early this year and made his debut at Saracens when he came on as a first-half replacement for Andy Powell. He then became a regular choice in the team for the remaining games.
Sale director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, “Dan is a not only a great playerhe is a natural leader and is very popular amongst the squad we have assembled at Sale Sharks for the coming season.”
