Former Coronation Street actress Denise Welsh has taken up a new hobby, horse-riding.
The feisty actress from Wilmslow who only recently was spotted sporting a bizarre Jedward-style hair cut, announced her new interest by posting a picture of herself on twitter in full riding gear .
The Loose Woman presenter has joined a riding school near her Wilmslow home and sees horse-riding as a wonderful way of getting rid of stress.
She has also become an ambassador for the mental health charity Mind. Welch, who has spoken publicly about her struggle with depression, said she was honoured to represent the charity. “Depression and mental health problems don’t discriminate – they can affect anybody at any time,” she said.
