After its 2012 success, Chester Arts Fair returns to the city for its second consecutive year. Showcasing world-renowned artists, the Fair will take place at Chester Racecourse for two days between 15-17 November and will attract over 5,000 visitors.

A high calibre of art galleries will be at the Fair, including Kelvin Okafor (renowned London graphite artist) and world famous sculptor, Nick Elphick (commissioned to sculpt the Olympians and the Queen for the Diamond Jubilee). The Fair will include visual art, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass work and much more.

Chester Arts Fair is also one of the first in the UK to host such a variety of international contemporary art, including some of the most exciting contemporary galleries working today. The fair will present a curated programme of talks, artists, commissions and film projects, many of which are interactive or performative and encourage visitors to engage with Art and Artists directly.

A number of works will be sold in a charity art auction in support of Claire House Children’s Hospice, and also Chester Arts Foundation, which supports Art in schools, colleges and universities.
