Manchester-based restaurant business, Bem Brasil, has opened a branch in Altrincham – the company’s first location outside a city centre.

The 400 sq m restaurant located on Ashley Road in the town centre seats 130 people over two floors.  It is Bem Brasil’s fourth branch and follows the success of its two restaurants in Manchester city centre on Deansgate and the Northern Quarter, as well as one restaurant at the Liverpool One leisure and shopping complex.

Kleber Magalhaes, founder of Bem Brasil, said: “During difficult economic times, people’s dining out habit becomes a search for great value along with great quality and that’s how I believe we’ve gone from strength to strength, doubling in size over the last four years; by giving our customers great food, entertainment and value for money.

“The £70m investment planned to regenerate Altrincham will bring people back into the town centre, so there’s real potential and opportunity in the area. Many years ago I worked there as a waiter, so it’s good to be investing and helping to revive the local economy.

“And with Brazil hosting the World Cup next year and the Olympics in 2016, we anticipate even greater interest in the best of all things Brazilian, which is exactly what we can offer.
