Jobling Gowler celebrates for charity

business-Jobling GowlerLaw firm Jobling Gowler celebrated its 20th anniversary earlier this month by hosting ba charity networking event for over fifty charity representatives.

Jobling Gowler the anniversary on 2nd December 2016 and to mark the occasion launched their ‘Twenty420’ campaign to raise funds and support twenty exceptional local charities and projects, including East Cheshire Hospice, Just Drop In, Macclesfield Eye Society and the Rossendale Trust.

As part of the Twenty420campaign, Jobling Gowler will donate £20 for every will they make for clients during 2017 and staff will host art exhibitions, organise sponsored dog walks and run the Macclesfield half marathon. All these activities will help the firm achieve its aim of raising as much money as possible to support the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the Macclesfield community.

The need for an informal networking opportunity emerged from the initial meetings with the charities at the start of Twenty420project. As a result, the firm will organise three charity networking events throughout the year to promote discussion and cooperation between local organisations and charities, the first of which was attended by David.

Heather Jobling, Senior Partner of Jobling Gowler, said: “I am pleased that the evening has been a resounding success and that the feedback from those who attended has been very positive as they and their charities felt really valued in the local community.”

Following the networking event Local MP David Rutley said: “I would like to congratulate Jobling Gowler on their anniversary and on the successful launch of the Twenty420 campaign.
