Drayton Manor Park had a record number of visitors during February half term, an increase of 95% since 2015 and the biggest ever attendance for this period.
Despite being forced to close early during Storm Doris, the Staffordshire based attraction welcomed an unprecedented number of family and friends to Europe’s only Thomas Land and other selected rides from Saturday 18th to Sunday 26th February.
William Bryan, Managing Director at Drayton Manor Park said: “We were delighted to see so many visitors enjoying Thomas Land during February half term and look forward to welcoming returning and new guests when we open the park for the season. Let’s hope this is a sign of things to come for the 2017/18 season.”
Drayton Manor Park Ltd, opened to the public in 1950 by the Bryan family, covers 80 acres of land, which once belonged to Sir Robert Peel.
