Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to
make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (“the 1984 Act”) and all other
enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the
1984 Act.
1. Introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on
the following lengths of road:-
Store Street (Both Sides) – From its junction with High Street for a distance
of 19.5 metres in a westerly direction

(Part Revocation) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to
make an Order under Sections 1 and 2 and 4 and Parts III and IV of Schedule
9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (“the 1984 Act”) and
all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122
of the 1984 Act.
1. The effect of the proposed Order will be to;
i) Revoke the existing prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all
days on:-
Dane Hill Close, Disley (South East Side) – From a point 17 metres south west
of its junction with Buxton Old Road for a distance of 60 metres in a south
westerly direction;
2. Copies of the draft Orders; plans showing the restricted areas; a statement
of reasons for making the Order and a copy of this public notice are available
at;

(Restriction of Waiting) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to
make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (“the 1984 Act”) and all other
enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the
1984 Act.
1. The effect of the proposed Order will be to Introduce a restriction of
waiting by vehicles between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday inclusive on the
following length of road:-
Lowe Street, Macclesfield (east side) – from its junction with Broken Banks in
a southerly direction for a distance of 32 metres.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
High Street, Macclesfield
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of
its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and
of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which
will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, sewer repair works
Prohibition of traffic-
High Street, Macclesfield
Approximately 50 metres either side of the junction with Chapel Street
The alternative route will be via Chapel Street, St Georges Street, St Georges
Place, James Street and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.
The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day
This order will come into operation on 6th March 2017 and will continue in
force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work
to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will
be completed by 20th March 2017.

of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which
will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, sewer repair works
Prohibition of traffic-
Mayfield Avenue, Macclesfield
From the junction with Rutland Road for approximately 100 metres.
The alternative route will be via Mayfield Avenue, Parkgate Road, Belgrave
Road, Moss Lane and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.
The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day
This order will come into operation on 6th March 2017 and will
continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is
necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
20th March 2017.

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
(Footpath No. 5 (Parts) Parish of Prestbury)
Public Path Diversion Order 2016
On 12th January 2017, Cheshire East Borough Council confirmed the above
named Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect
of the Order as confirmed is to divert that length of Public Footpath No.5 in
the Parish of Prestbury commencing at O.S. grid reference SJ 8946 7837 and
running in a generally northerly direction for a distance of approximately 159
metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 8945 7853, then turning in a generally north
westerly direction for approximately 88 metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 8938
7858. Also that length of Public Footpath No. 5 in the Parish of Prestbury
commencing at O.S. grid reference SJ 8929 7885 and running in a generally
north north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 92 metres to
O.S. grid reference SJ 8926 7894.
To a new line commencing at O.S. grid reference SJ 8946 7837 and running
in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 48 metres to O.S.
grid reference SJ 8950 7840 then turning in a generally north north westerly
direction for approximately 146 metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 89460 78543
then turning in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 6 metres
to O.S. grid reference SJ 89463 78547 then turning in a generally north north
westerly direction for approximately 28 metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 8945
7857 then turning in a generally west north westerly direction for approximately
63 metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 8938 7858.
Also a footpath, in the Parish of Prestbury commencing at O.S. grid reference
SJ 8929 7885 and running in a generally northerly direction for approximately
95 metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 8928 7894, through a kissing gate, then
turning in a generally west south westerly direction for approximately 22
metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 8926 7894. The Order became operative on
12th January 2017.
Copies of the confirmed Order and plan have been deposited and may be
seen free of charge during normal office hours in the Rights of Way Unit at
the office of the undersigned and at the offices of Cheshire East Borough
Council, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HZ. Copies of the
Order and the Plan may be obtained free of charge from the undersigned.
If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of
any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers
of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any
requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the
Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may,
under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5
of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks of 23rd February 2017, make
an application to the High Court.
