Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette is emerging as Manchester United’s top target for the summer transfer window.
And according to reports coming out of France the two clubs are on the brink of agreeing a deal.
Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted that there has been interest in the player from both United and Barcelona and that the club will not stand in the player’s way. However, the price being mooted is around £60 million.
The France international front man has had another outstanding season for the La Ligue team, netting 21 goals in 24 games in all competitions to spark fresh speculation over his future.
Aulas also hinted that one of the two clubs he mentioned had already been speaking to Lyon in some depth and although he refused to name the team, local media reports are suggesting that it is Manchester United rather than Barca.
