North West Air Ambulance Charity calls for clothing donations

Following a busy Christmas period, The North West Air Ambulance Charity’s stores are calling for help to restock it shelves.

The store on Ashley Road in Hale and Dean Row Court in Wilmslow are calling for good quality unwanted china, glassware, books, and clothing, as they provide a vital source of income for the charity, which helps give the gift of time to patients across the region.

Just as many critically injured patients would not survive without the service that the charity provides, the North West Air Ambulance Charity would not be here without the support of its community of fundraisers and partners as it is reliant on public and corporate donations.

Pat Tisdale, head of retail at the North West Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Our retail stores need a constant flow of good quality items to continue to help raise the vital funds for our work. It’s couldn’t be easier to donate with the option of booking a collection by phone or online, or take goods directly to store.  Also, if you’re a tax payer and Gift Aid your donation, it makes it 20% more valuable to us.”

For the store’s contact details or to arrange a collection, please visit www.nwaa.net/retail or call 0800 587 4570.
