Cheshire contractor Pochin has won two contracts from residential developer DeTrafford Estates.
The firm has been appointed to deliver two schemes: Sky Gardens in Manchester’s Castlefield, and Cavendish Place in Bowdon.
Sky Gardens will bring 166 apartments to 210 Chester Road, and includes a new public square and a communal roof garden for residents. There will also be commercial space fronting Chester Road.
The site is next to to DeTrafford’s Roof Gardens scheme in Ellesmere Street, where Pochin is delivering 22 townhouses and 49 apartments.
At the Cavendish Place scheme, 17 homes, made up of duplexes, triplexes, a coach house and three- and four-bedroom penthouses, will be built behind the restored façades of two buildings, Southbank House and Delamer Lodge.
