Alex Titchiner to leave Witton Albion for Fleetwood Town
Alex Titchiner will leave Witton Albion to test himself in the Football League after agreeing to sign for League Two new boys Fleetwood Town.
Titchiner scored 44 goals last season, helping Albion secure promotion to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League via the playoffs.
The former Crewe trainee was also named Evo-Stik First Division North Young Player of the Year.
His sparkling form persuaded Fleetwood boss Micky Mellon to make the youngster his first signing of the summer.
Titchiner will formally join Fleetwood once the club are formally accepted into the Football League at an AGM next week.
