Metquarter encourages men to sign up for Movember

Liverpool’s top fashion destination, Metquarter has teamed up with The Movember Foundation – the month formerly known as ‘November’ – to encourage men to sign up to the challenge of growing a moustache to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues.

On Tuesday 1st November, Gentry Grooming Co will be in the centre from 10am to 6pm offering complimentary cut throat shaves to all gentleman taking part in this year’s Movember.














After a full month of maintenance, the Gentry Grooming Co will return to Metquarter on Wednesday 30th November (10am – 6pm) to mark the end of Movember by removing the well-grown and groomed moustaches of Liverpool. A photo booth will also be in the centre to capture each mustache for your chance to win “Moustache of the Year” along with a fantastic prize courtesy of Gieves & Hawkes and Mococo.

The Movember Foundation is a global men’s health charity that raises vital funds and awareness for the often-ignored issues of men’s health, by encouraging men to boldly grow a moustache for the month of November.

Centre manager, Jennina O’Neill said:  “We’re delighted to be supporting such a fantastic foundation this year. Movember host wonderful events to raise money and awareness for men’s health and we hope our complimentary wet shave service will support the foundation, whilst having a bit of fun.

“We can’t wait to see the different moustache styles at the end of Movember and we hope to raise as much money and awareness as possible.”
